great moose collection! thanks again! :)

just wondering if most of these shots represent an active 'hunt' for moose [wildlife in general?] or mostly chance encounters?

the Denali shots are wildlife "hunts", but not specific to moose. Some of the Flattop stuff was specific to find moose. Many of the others are chance encounters from the car or walking around and such. I see moose all the time ;-)

So there is a wide variety of how I came to see the moose.

very cool. would you say your 'hunts' are generally successful? or 50/50 [or less?] hit or miss?

Well, I have not gone through Denali without seeing them, and more often than not going to Flat top looking or not I see them.

I'd say 75% of the "hunts" or more are successful on some level.
